After years of helping run a parrot rescue, years of keeping pet parrots (or do they keep us?), and years of education via conferences, reading, and personal contact with experts with various specialties in aviculture, we decided to put our knowledge to work and start making and selling items that we would offer to our own "fids" (Feathered Kids).  We also chose items to "re-sell" that we've had personal experience with, knowing that these items are safe for birds and/or handy to use around birds.  Our tag line, "Unique Products With Your Bird's Safety As Our Primary Concern", is the theme behind all the items we offer for sale.

Rebel is a Blue & Gold Macaw who was given away at a yard sale.  The man who took him had to use a hacksaw to cut off the portion of his beak that had overgrown to the extent that it curled back into his neck.  This man had to go into the hospital, so he turned the bird over to the Rescue.  Rebel was immediately taken to an avian vet who shaped his beak to make it functional again.  After years of living on a perch on a lanai, Rebel was adopted by us and now has a large cage full of toys, which he eventually learned to play with, and can now eat normally instead of having to crush his food against the side of a metal bowl.
